PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier that can humidify a fuel cell even at the time of starting. SOLUTION: Apart from the water penetration type humidifier 2, the humidifier is provided with a water recovery apparatus for the water in the fuel cell offgas and an auxiliary humidifying means of the feed gas using the recovered water from the water recovery apparatus. The water recovery apparatus comprises a vapor-liquid separator 3 and a recovered water storage tank 4 and the auxiliary humidifying means comprise a stop valve 6, a recovered water feed pump 7, a piping for auxiliary humidifying 13 and an injector 17. When the fuel cell is started, the recovered water in the recovered water storage tank 4 is transferred by the recovered water feed pump 7 atomized by the injector 17 to be supplied to the intake side of the fuel cell 1. |
