PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and make efficient operations such as a classifying operation and a transfer procedure to each consignee corresponding to card deposit to a package delivery company which are needed in home delivery card settlement processing. SOLUTION: This terminal device 101 for card authentication is provided with a card reader part 103 capable of reading the stored information of a card for authentication, a distributor identification information inputting means 106 capable of inputting distributor identification information for individually identifying a plurality of distributors making a contract with a card authentication source, and a communicating means 104 which communicates with a purchase contract authentication source by a card presented by a user, can transmit transmission information including a group of at least three types of information such as purchase contact specified information, provider identification information and information to be authenticated of the card for authentication read by the card reader part and also receives the information of the effect of contract authentication from the authentication source. A card authentication system is constructed by using the terminal device 101 for card authentication. |
