PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for inputting Japanese syllabary characters to computer equipment. SOLUTION: This is a method for inputting Japanese syllabary characters to computer equipment, by depressing the button switch of an inputting device with a finger tip according to a defined rule and a device for performing the inputting operation using the method.
