PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system improving convenience with a conversion lens and a video camera. SOLUTION: A communication means for sending information of the conversion lens 2 to the side of a video camera 1 is arranged between the mutual connection parts of the video camera 1 and the conversion lens 2, and the video camera 1 is provided with a display means 18 which makes it possible to display the information of the conversion lens 2 via the communication means on the video camera 1.
