PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately predict the fluidity of phenol resin molding material at a die temperature. SOLUTION: In this fluidity evaluation method of phenol resin molding material, melting torque of the phenol resin molding material by a Brabender plastograph is measured at two or more temperatures in the range of 100-150 deg.C, and the value of the melting torque at the temperature of 170-190 deg.C is predicted from the lowest value of the melting torque at each temperature. The torque prediction at 170-190 deg.C is executed by expressing the lowest value M of the melting torque by an exponential function on the absolute temperature T: M= M0exp(E/T) (where, M0 and E are inherent constants on the molding material).
