IC RADIATION DOSIMETER AND RADIATION DOSE MEASURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC radiation dosimeter and radiation dose measuring method. SOLUTION: The IC dosimeter is compact, lightweight, and capable of simply measuring radiation dose. The IC dosimeter can be used with both characteristics of two categories of conventional dosimeters. It is possible to perform real-time measurements with the passage of electric current and to accumulate the effects of radiation without the passage of current and perform non-real-time measure. The radiation dosimeter is provided with a radiation detecting means with the property that changes dark current according to the dose of radiation, a dark current measuring means connected to the radiation detecting means to measure the dark current, and an output means to convert the results of measurement by the dark current measuring means into the dose of radiation and output it.
