PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical transmission module which converts an inputted electric signal to an optical signal accurately and outputs the optical signal. SOLUTION: A package contains a modulator integrated laser diode as a means which obtains an optical signal in accordance with an electric signal. In the package, a terminal resistor Rt and an optical modulator MD are connected in parallel, and one of them is grounded. On the other side of them, a wire inductance (L1) and a resistor Rd for impedance matching are connected in series with the parallel connection. A high frequency transmission line (microstrip line)MSL for transmitting an inputted electric signal is connected with the other end of the resistor Rd. |
