PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a redundant processor without changing programs when the processor is constituted of a processor means to perform different instruction code. SOLUTION: In the processor CP 1 to synchronously wait by performing the same operation by one of first and second microprocessors 11, 12 coupled via a system bus and each of which is able to perform as a single unit while an actual work is performed by the other, a collating means 13 to collate operation results of the first and second microprocessors, a type information storage means 19 of the first and second microprocessors and a code converting means 20 to convert instruction codes of the first and second microprocessors based on type information of the storage means, are provided.
