PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of providing accurate fixing and carrying speed even in a compact image forming device where a distance between a photoreceptor drum or a transfer device and a fixing device is short. SOLUTION: The motive power of a driving source M is always connected to a fixing driving roller 5 and also connected to a fixing driven roller 4 through a clutch C. When oil adhesive amount and toner adhesive amount are large, they make the carrying speed of a recording sheet S low, so that the driving of the roller 4 is controlled by engaging and disengaging the clutch C in accordance with the oil adhesive amount or the toner adhesive amount.
