PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine that can continue ring type multiple address transmission even when disabled communication takes place with a succeeding destination in the execution of the ring type multiple address transmission. SOLUTION: On the occurrence of disabled communication between the facsimile machine and a succeeding destination in executing the ring type multiple address transmission, the facsimile machine sets a procedure of re-communication depending on contents of discriminated disabled communication and conducts the re- communication according to the set re-communication procedure. When the disabled communication takes place before the transmission of a sub address signal to a succeeding destination, the facsimile machine sets the succeeding destination to conduct communication including transmission of the sub address signal, and when the disabled communication takes place after the transmission of the sub address signal to the succeeding destination, the facsimile machine sets the communication such that the communication not including the transmission of the sub address signal is made to the succeeding destination and the communication including the transmission of the sub address signal is made to a destination next to the succeeding destination.
