PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid restrictions of electronic components connected to a plug, when they are used for an electronic equipment, by constructing different closed circuits in a jack for use in insertion and non-insertion of the plug for changing passages of signals in the case the electronic components connected to the plug are used and in the case those connected to the electronic equipment are used. SOLUTION: A J3 pin, J4 pin, J5 pin and J6 pin are connected with each other when a plug is not inserted into a jack 109, and two closed circuits are constituted. When the plug is inserted in the jack 109, the closed circuits of the J3 pin with the J4 pin and the J5 pin with the J6 pin are kept open, and the J2 pin and the J3 pin are connected with each other in stead, the jack 109 making up a new closed circuit. Thus, a change of signal passages is possible at time of insertion of the plug and non-insertion of the plug.
