PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Hori-kotatsu(floor-cut foot warmer) which can readily impart a thermal insulating property as required and can obtain power source to a heater from beneath the floor. SOLUTION: The floor-cut foot warmer comprises a main box 1, which is open above and accommodated under the floor, a heater 2 provided in the box 1 at its bottom and a plug socket 3 which is provided inside the box 1 and serves as a power source of the heater 2. The foot warmer also comprises an outer box 4 which consists of a thermal insulating material and covers the box 1 from outside. The box 4 is provided with a through hole 5 at a position corresponding to the plug socket 3. An electric cord 6 that has been wired under the floor in order to supply power to the plug socket 3, is inserted into the through hole 5.
