PURPOSE: A parking reservation system using a wireless communication terminal and a method thereof are provided to reserve a parking place located in a remote place using the wireless communication terminal, and confirm, change, and cancel the parking reservation according to a peripheral situation. CONSTITUTION: A parking system(P) manages the parking capacity and the parking price of a parking place. A wireless communication terminal(M) transmits and receives data or information. A BTS(Base Transceiver Subsystem)(B) grasps position information of the moving wireless communication terminal(M). An inter-mediation server(S) is connected with the parking system(P) through a wire and wireless networks(N) and is connected with the wireless communication terminal(M) through the BTS for exchanging information each other and processing collected information. |
