PURPOSE: An advertisement method using public telephone is provided to offer a video advertisement and various public information when a hook switch is turned on. CONSTITUTION: A hook switch is connected with a telephone office as soon as a handset is hanged on, and an advertisement during 20-30 seconds is displayed from the connected time to a called time with an object so that a user of a public telephone obtains various information. A link technique for providing the advertisement and information and ring back tone techniques with various types are embodied. The hook switch is connected with the advertisement as soon as the user hands on the handset, and the public telephone is connected with a transmission device.
