PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active inductor, having a low voltage drop with respect to the supply voltage of an IC. SOLUTION: The active inductor used on the IC which has the supply voltage supplied from a first voltage terminal VDD comprises a MOS transistor and a resistor 113. The MOS transistor consists of a gate terminal 103, a drain terminal 105, and a source terminal 107, with the drain terminal connected to the first voltage terminal VDD and the source terminal connected to one terminal of the active inductor. The resistor 113 has a first terminal, connected to the gate terminal 103 and a second terminal connected to a high voltage generator, which generates the voltage which, is obtained from the supply voltage and which has a larger absolute value than that of the supply voltage VDD supplied from the first voltage terminal and has the same polarity as that of the supply voltage.
