PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for conveying a coating solution by which bubbles can be efficiently removed from a passage for conveying a coating solution for each layer in the production of an organic solvent-containing heat developable photosensitive material, a method for washing the conveying passage before coating, a method for washing the conveying passage after production and a maintenance and preservation method after production. SOLUTION: When a coating solution for each layer of a heat developable photosensitive material is conveyed by a conveying pump from a tank to a coating apparatus through piping, only the principal solvent of the coating solution is previously fed into a passage for conveying the coating solution and is drawn at the highest point in the passage directly before the coating apparatus.
