DUAL FUEL FEED MODULE SYSTEM OF AUTOMOBILE BIFURCATE FUEL TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual fuel feed module system of an automobile bifurcate fuel tank. SOLUTION: This fuel system comprises first and second tank parts 30 and 34 communicated with each other in a manner to have a substantially equal steam pressure, first and second fuel pumps 58 and 62 provided with each the first and second tank parts, and a crossover fuel line 206 for transferring fuel between the first and second tank parts in some transfer direction determined by a relative level of fuel 74 in the first and second tank parts. Each of the first and second shuttle valves 170 controls a direction of a flow of fuel passing the one crossover and substantially equally maintains fuel levels in both of the bifurcated parts until a tank 18 is emptied. First and second jet pumps are communicated with the crossover fuel line and provide a suction force necessary to transfer of fuel.
