PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that any CD disk data requesting the reading of a host computer are not present in a hard disk device and the reading speed of the data from a CD disk by a CD-ROM device is slow in reading the data from the CD disk in the case of a conventional CD disk data outside cache device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a CD-ROM device 120 into which a CD disk 122 is inserted, a hard disk device 110 for storing the data stored in the CD disk 122 at the time of caching the data, and a host computer 101 having a control means for caching data stored in the innermost side on the CD disk 122 and plural data following the data in a hard disk device 110.
