PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for virtual space communication and a system device which can indicate whether a user exists in the front of a terminal device or not independently of presence/absence of user's input operation by easy processing and a simple constitution. SOLUTION: Plural virtual space communication terminals 21 to 2n are used which can move user's alter ego in a virtual space in accordance with prescribed operation of this user, and each virtual space communication terminal adopts a characteristic constitution means which detects the movement of the user of this terminal by a movement sensor 35 and moves user's alter ego in the virtual space on the basis of the extent of the detected movement of the user.
