PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a highly reliable and inexpensive display device by transmitting signals in the display device using data signals of less number of transmission lines than that of transmission lines of image signals inputted to a signal processing circuit, and reducing the number of wiring of the display device. SOLUTION: An input control signal and image signals consisting of signals of plural image transmission lines are inputted to a control circuit 22. A signal processing circuit 23 makes the signals of two or more image transmission lines selected from the plural image transmission lines into a single data transmission line signal in time-division manner and coverts them into data signals synchronizing with a data clock. In such a manner, the image signals are transmitted to a signal line driving circuit 15 in the display device with the data clock as the data transmission line signals less than the number of the image transmission lines.
