PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only perform the transmission of electronic mail by handwriting and the reception of the mail by printing but also to easily prepare and transmit response and transfer mail by utilizing received mail. SOLUTION: Received mail data are printed and outputted to the transmission/reception sheet of a prescribed format provided with a received mail area a1 and a response/transfer mail area a2. For the contents of the received mail printed in the area a1, quotation is instructed by entering a handwriting check mark to a quotation check column provided for an entire line object and each line. Also, the response or transfer is instructed by entering the handwriting check mark to the response or transfer check column of the area a2. Further, when a message is handwritten in a handwriting contents area and is read by an image scanner, the instruction of the response or the transfer is confirmed by character recognition, the data of the line of the received mail contents for which the quotation is instructed and the message handwritten in the handwriting contents area are combined and the mail contents of the response or the transfer are prepared. |
