PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-way clutch and its assembly method stabilizing idle running torque and dispensing with previous setting of an assembled spring. SOLUTION: A holder 5 receiving each roller 4 is fitted to an outer ring 1, a convergent tapered shaft 13 formed with a large diametric side larger than a diameter of a circle circumscribed to an internal peripheral side of each roller 4 received in a peripheral direction of the holder 5 is pressed into the internal peripheral side of each roller 4, so as to move it in a direction for press contracting each spring 6 along a cam surface 2a of a recessed part 2, a deformation amount exceeding an elastic limit is given to each of these springs 6, the holder 5 is turned by deformation resistance thereof, a protrusion part 7a of the holder 5 is made to abut with no clearance to the deepest part of the recessed part 2 of the outer ring 1, a change of a phase between the outer ring 1 and the holder 5 is eliminated so that idle running torque is stabilized also a setting process of the spring can be omitted. |
