PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an network system which makes a digital watermark of a reception file on a reception side sufficiently function when the file having the digital watermark is transmitted (faxed, etc.), performs excellent transmission, and securely protects the copyright of the object file to be transmitted. SOLUTION: A server (image processing means) 101 which sends information having a digital watermark through a network 130 obtains information to be transmitted which has the digital watermark from a storage means 102 stored with the information at a request for facsimile transmission from a client 120 or 121, applies a prescribed image processing to the information resulting from releasing the digital watermark from the above obtained information, applies digital watermark processing to the information having been processed, and faxes the processed information by a device 111 or 112. |
