PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily construct a cut-off wall for waterpressure test/repair of a sluice gate at a low cost. SOLUTION: The box-shaped cut-off wall 40 is formed around the front of the sluice gate V provided to a pool wall. Both side edges of a sluice gate body 12 are extended to right and left to provide forward U-shaped guides 19, and a sole plate 41 is formed forward from an overall length of the lower edge of the body 12 including also the lower edges of the guides 19. The sole plate 41 is used for the bottom wall of the cut-off wall 40, and guide columns 44 having guides 42 opposed to the guides 19 and guides 43 opposed forward to each other are erected in both ends on the front side of the sole plate 41. The guides 19, sole plate 41 and guide columns 44 are simultaneously constructed when the sluice gate V is constructed, and when the sluice gate V is repaired, as a chain line shown in the same Fig. in the case of the waterpressure test, stoplogs 45 and 46 are fitted into between the guides 19 and 42 and between the guides 43 to form the cut-off wall 40. The cut-off wall 40 is separated from the inside of the pool.
