PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set camera conditions for personal photographing of a camera user in the manner of reservation. SOLUTION: Concerning an electronic camera 1, with which an object is photographed by a semiconductor imaging device 24, this electronic camera is provided with a power source applying part 8, rising condition information storage part 46 for storing rising condition information, which is information designating the rising conditions of the camera when power supply is applied by the power source applying part, showing the designation of at least one photographing mode provided by a system or designation of a personal photographing mode set by the camera user, storage part 47 for storing camera conditions corresponding to the personal photographing mode, and condition setting part 43 for setting the photographing mode on the basis of the rising condition information when the power source of the system is turned on, and performing this photographing mode setting on the basis of camera conditions stored in the storage part when the personal photographing mode is designated.
