EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT JOINT FOR SEWAGE PIPELINE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a pipe joint for a sewage pipe of an earthquake resistant structure by a metallic pipe such as a ductile cast iron pipe. SOLUTION: In a pipe connected by inserting an insertion port 5 formed at an end part of are pipe 6 inside a socket 1 formed in an end part of the other pipe 6 by interposing a sealing rubber ring 2, the depth of a housing groove 7 for the sealing rubber ring 2 formed on an opening side inside surface of the socket 1 is deepened toward the inmost part of the pipe socket 1. This deepened part is formed as a deformation housing part of the sealing rubber band 2 deformed by being compressed when inserting into the insertion port.
