PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium, capable of performing stable recording and reproduction in whatever environment by suppressing the shrinkage and expansion of an ink receiving layer and a change in the mechanical characteristics incidental to those. SOLUTION: The optical recording medium has at least an optical recording layer, a reflecting layer, a protective layer and an ink-receiving layer, capable of printing by an ink jet printer on a transparent substrate and the degree of water absorption of the ink receiving layer is 0.02 g/cm2 or smaller. |
