PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-way communication unit, that can conduct two-way communication with high quality in a CATV network adopting series wiring or a CATV network adopting parallel wiring that interrupts arrival of an incoming signal. SOLUTION: Terminals are installed to a base station side and each subscriber side, a router function of a router function section logically interconnects the base station and each subscriber in one-to-one way to attain two-way communication, a frequency conversion section of each subscriber converts the frequency of an incoming signal into an arbitrary frequency of 50 MHz or higher and transmits the converted signal to the base station side, and a frequency conversion section of the base station inversely converts the frequency of the incoming signal received by the base station from each subscriber into the prescribed frequency prior to the conversion to solve this task. |
