PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a MD recording and reproducing device 10 convenient when a user inputs a title name instead of a track number by mistake or corrects it. SOLUTION: When a user specifies a track number, the track number specified by the user and its title name are displayed on the disk player 11 (only when the title name is already recorded in the track corresponding to the track number), and it becomes possible for the user to input or correct a title name on the existing title name, and alter the track number. Then, when the user specifies a set, the title name and the track number are made to correspond to each other and recorded on the disk.
