PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring camera system that realizes a network with a small-sized and simple configuration, having superior expandability. SOLUTION: The monitoring camera system is provided with turning devices 3-1 to 3-5, provided to correspond to monitoring cameras 2-1 to 2-5 to turn the monitoring cameras, an operation section 1 that gives a control signal to each turning device and receives a response signal from each turning device, an operation section interface 4 that is connected to the operation section 1, camera interfaces 5-1 to 5-5 that are connected to the turning devices correspondingly, a bus 7 that interconnects the operation section interface 4 and the camera interfaces 5-1 to 5-5, and common interface sections 42, 51-1 to 51-5, provided to correspond to the operation interface section 4 and the camera interfaces 5-1 to 5-5 and adopt a collector open output form with respect to the bus 7.
