PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flying object with an identify friend or foe function wherein the identify friend or foe function is mounted on a flying object itself to surely prevent shooting a friend, resulting in higher freedom in shooting while a covering fire for a friend aircraft in fight from ground is allowed for improved security of a ground facility. SOLUTION: Friend or foe discriminating means 12-15 are mounted in a fuselage 11 of a flying object which transmits an electric wave for IFF(identify friend or foe) and receives a response from a target for the transmitted electric wave, for friend or foe identifying process.
