PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcasting receiver with which program retrieval is facilitated and program reservation is efficiently made. SOLUTION: A keyword data base is prepared by extracting a keyword from the detailed information of program information contained in program list data downloaded from a CS. A program is retrieved by this keyword data base. Thus, a desired program can be retrieved from the programs of 100 channels. Besides, the other program containing the same word as the title of a program displayed as a program list is retrieved and a series program containing the same word is extracted. Then, these programs are simultaneously reserved. Thus, the reservation of series programs is simplified.
