PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning pack for melt spinning, capable of decreasing abnormal residence of polymer in the spinning pack to the smallest possible extent so as to improve quality of the fiber thus obtained, and further so as to stabilize process performance in spinning or in drawing thereafter. SOLUTION: In this spinning pack which is equipped with at least a filter medium for removing foreign particles from the polymer and a support member (3') for upward supporting the filter medium and is used for melt spinning of a thermoplastic polymer, the support member (3') has pressure-receiving surfaces (A1 to A16, and B1 to B16) for supporting filtration pressure brought about by the filter medium at the bottom of a pressure-receiving portion of the support member so that the pressure-receiving surfaces are formed to be located in at least the peripheral area only, or in both peripheral and central areas, but not to be located in an intermediate area of the support member and further the support member has polymer-gathering channels (R0 to R15) arranged radiately at the bottom of the pressure-receiving portion so that a polymer made to divergently flow in the upstream of the filter medium is made to convergently flow in the downstream of the filter medium and charged into the polymer-gathering channels.
