PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doctor apparatus capable of readily taking out a blade holder. SOLUTION: This doctor apparatus 1 comprises a roll R, a blade 3 to be freely brought into contact with and separated from the roll 3, a blade holder 4 for retaining the blade 3, a doctor bag which has a channel part 51 for slidably guiding the blade holder 4 and supports the blade holder 4 and a stopper member 1 for stopping the movement of the blade holder 4 in the sliding direction guided in the channel part 51. The edge part of the channel part 51 is made into an opening end so as to face the outside.
