PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning machine which has a simultaneous bobbin-changing device and a pneumatic device, saves the operation of the pneumatic device, shortens a spinning machine-stopping time for a bobbin change work, and does not cause a trouble, even when a variable frequency converter is used for both the pneumatic device and the bobbin-changing device. SOLUTION: Variable speed motors whose rotation rates can be changed by the changes of electric source frequencies are used as a motor 13 for a bobbin-changing device and as a motor 20 for a pneumatic device, respectively. The motor 13 for the bobbin-changing device is connected to the output terminals U, V and W of an inverter 22 through an always opened contact point MS1. The motor 20 for the pneumatic device is connected to a commercial electric source 21 through an always-opened contact point MS2, and further connected to the output terminals U, V and W of the inverter 22 through an always opened contact point MS3. The inverter 22 is controlled by command signals from a controller C. The controller C controls the opening or closing operation of each always opened contact point MS1, MS2 or MS3 so that an electric power is supplied from the commercial electric source 21 to the motor 20 for the pneumatic device, when the electric power is supplied to the motor 13 for the bobbin-changing device.
