PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure safety while securing design of the whole faucet in the faucet having a handle having a grip part and being rotatably operated by being projected in a faucet body. SOLUTION: This faucet has the faucet body 10 and a handle 30 having the grip part 32 and being rotatably operated by being projected in the faucet body 10. A preventive means 35 for preventing fingers for operating the handle 30 from being nipped in clearance between the faucet body 10 and the grip part 32 formed by rotary operation of the handle 30, is provided in at least one of the handle 30 or the faucet body 10.
