PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object tracking device without giving any unpleasant feeling to an object to be photographed and which is easy in control, simplified in structure and improved in productivity. SOLUTION: The object tracking device is provided with a photographing means 5 having a photographic range capable of discriminating the right eye of a human figure, a position detecting means 11 for detecting the position of the right eye of the human figure in the image photographed by the photographing means 5, and an image extracting means 15 for extracting an image tracking the right eye of the human figure to the almost center from the video signal of the image of the right eye of the human figure by means of the photographing means 5 on the basis of position information by means of the position detecting means 11. When the right eye of the human figure is photographed by the photographing means 5, the position of the right eye of the human figure is detected by the position detecting means 11 and the image, tracking the right eye of the human figure to the almost center is extracted by the image extracting means 15. |
