PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accurate and inexpensive small inductor which is used as a surface-mounting part. SOLUTION: At least, a spiral conductor film is formed on the surface of a columnar base of dielectric or magnetic material through a gas deposition method. Spiral conductor films may be formed on the same plane or may be formed in layers, or an insulating layer of dielectric material or magnetic material formed through a gas deposition method may be interposed between them. A protective layer of insulating resin or dielectric material or magnetic material which is formed through a gas deposition method may be formed on the conductor.
