PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for generating disassembly/assembly chart capable of easily generating the disassembly/assembly chart of an assembled article composed of multiple components. SOLUTION: This device has an input part 101, form data memory 105 for storing the form data of components comprising the assembled article, memory 106 for storing assembly process data composed of assembling components and assembling directions, arithmetic part 102 for displaying the assembled article on a display part on the basis of the form data and means 109 for determining the position of location in a state of disassembling the components comprising the assembled article on the basis of the assembly process data and the form data. Corresponding to the determined location position, the disassembly/assembly chart is displayed on the display part. Thus, the disassembly/assembly chart can be automatically generated and man-hour for generating the disassembly/assembly chart can be reduced.
