COATING SOLUTION FOR PHOTOSENSITIVE LAYER AND ORGANIC ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electrophotographic photoreceptor having no effect on the global environment and on the human body and having uniform stable photoreceptor characteristics by using a halogen-free organic solvent in a coating solution for a photosensitive layer. SOLUTION: A photosensitive layer is formed on a substrate 1 of <=65 mm outer diameter D1, at least the surface of which is electrically conductive by dipping the substrate 1 in a coating solution for the photosensitive layer prepared with a chlorine-free solvent and stored at 25-35 deg.C in a coating solution tank 4 of an inside diameter D2 which satisfies the expression 10 mm<=D2-D1<=35 mm. Tetrahydrofuran or dioxolane is used as the chlorine-free organic solvent. The coating solution for an electric charge transferring layer contains a polycarbonate having a viscosity average molecular weight of 20,000-50,000. The solid content of the coating solution is adjusted to 22.0-30.0 wt.% and 0.01-1.0 wt.% silicone oil based on the bonding resin content is contained.
