PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain temperature rise of a gearless hoist for an elevator by effectively discharging heat which is a factor of failure wherein heat generation of a stator coil of a hoist increases as the speed and the capacity of an elevator are increased. SOLUTION: A phase coil is made to serve as a heat pipe, and discharges the heat of the coil. Further, a fan-shaped protruding body is installed on a sheave. When the sheave rotates, wind is generated and performs air-cooling of a radiation fin part of the phase coil.
