PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna for portable radio equipment without causing the shortage of mechanical strength and the occurrence of defective appearance. SOLUTION: A joint part 3 is put through a joint part 3 and its second metallic sleeve 14 is force-fitted into the first metallic sleeve 12 to be fixed. Next, when a cap 15 is fitted to the upper end of the part 11, a hook-shaped part 3a is engaged elastically with an engaging projection 15a. Since an assembling system is adopted, it is possible to unnecessitate insert molding for the sleeve 12. Since the sleeve 12 and the sleeve 14 are overlapped, the mechanical strength is enhanced.
