PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for a different guide route from the present guide route, while running on a preliminarily set guide route. SOLUTION: There are provided an own vehicle position sensing device 2, information storage device 3, and input/output device 1 for inputting a destination and points en route, indicating to execute searching for routes from the destination to points en route from the vehicle position sensed by the vehicle- sensing device 2 and outputting information for guiding routes, a route-searching means for searching for routes from the vehicle position to the destination and to the points en route, a route memory means for temporarily storing searched routes, and a branch point sensing means for sensing whether or not branch points such as a toll road interchange and the like are present within a prescribed distance from the vehicle position. When the branch point related to the toll road is present within a prescribed distance from the vehicle position in accordance with the vehicle runs, the guide route, which is different from the guide route being guided at the present and which branches from the position, is searched for. |
