PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for producing an overcoat layer side light incidence type information recording medium which adapts to shorter wavelength and higher NA and makes aberrations caused by thickness error in the overcoat layer equal to or smaller than that in the case of a conventional substrate side light incidence type information recording medium, a method for producing the overcoat layer side light incident type information recording medium and an information recording medium. SOLUTION: A UV-curing resin 22 is applied on a circular groove 18 which is cut on a disk 20 at the outside of the central hole of 7.5 mm radius in the disk and at the inside of the inner circumference of an information recording region and on the groove 18 and its periphery, and the disk 20 is irradiated with UV 23, whose intensity (irradiance) is higher on the inner circumference side while spreading the resin toward the outer circumference side by centrifugal force by the spinning the disk, to form an overcoat layer having a small thickness difference. |
