PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic transfer sheet having excellent traveling property, no irregular gloss in an image part and no rough state. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic transfer sheet has a toner accepting layer containing a thermoplastic resin on at least one surface of the base material consisting of a paper base. In this sheet, the smoothness scale of the toner accepting layer regulated by JIS P8119 is >=8000 see. The elongation in CD (crossing direction) of the sheet when the humidity is varied from at 25 deg.C and 25% RH to at 25 deg.C and 90% RH is <=0.35%. The smoothness scale of the back face of the sheet regulated by JIS P8119 is <=500 sec.
