PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically shorten the time required for starting to take a still picture in comparison with in the conventional manner by applying an image pickup device to a camcorder constituted so that the still picture can be fetched. SOLUTION: A focus searching range is set in accordance with a focusing state in the case of starting fetching the still picture. |
