PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide AV equipment which enables simultaneous play for simultaneously outputting mutually non-related video and audio. SOLUTION: This AV equipment is provided with a button means for instructing setting of a simultaneous play mode when adopting a configuration capable of reproducing an audio source and a visual source, a first switching means for selecting the visual source to be outputted on a monitor, a second switching means for selecting the audio source to be outputted to a loudspeaker and a control means for performing control so as to select the audio source to be detected by the second switching means regardless of the visual source to be selected by the first switching means while a simultaneous play mode is set when detecting the selection of the audio source. Thus, the AV equipment enabling simultaneous play can be provided.
