PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evade unnecessary recalling operation by performing control so that recalling intervals are varied according to the state of an opposite partner in the case of a failure in communication with the opposite side. SOLUTION: This communication terminal device which has an automatic recalling function of automatically making a call again when communicating with an opposite-side device is equipped with a system control part 7 which has multiple parameters of a recalling interval from calling to next calling and changes the recalling interval by selecting one of the recalling intervals according to the answer signal sent from the opposite-side device.
