PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device which shortens the time of recording to recording paper when one of both top and reverse received images is an all-white image. SOLUTION: When faceup ejection is set, recording paper 22 from a recording paper tray 21 passes through a 1st conveyance path 23 and the reverse-side image of a final page is recorded on a surface R by a transfer drum 27. Then the recording paper 22 after being drawn in a 3rd conveyance path 25 temporarily is turned over through an inversion conveyance path 26, has the top-side image recorded on its surface S, and is ejected to a faceup ejection tray 28 with the surface S up. When the top-side image is an all-white image, the reverse-side image is recorded on the surface R of the recording paper, which is ejected with the surface R up as it is not through the inversion conveyance path 26. The conveyance paths for the recording paper are selected by operating a 1st switching gate 30 and a 2nd switching gate 31.
