PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device which can select a paper sheet kind corresponding to the kind of an image to be recording. SOLUTION: A control device 11 which is applied to the communication terminal devices is equipped with a communication part for an image composed of a read part 21 for a document, an NCU 14 which sends and receives an image, and a modem 15, recording part 22 which records the image, a multiple- stage paper sheet holding part which stores different kinds of paper sheets, a storage part 17 which stores a table wherein the paper sheet kinds corresponding to the kinds of images to be recorded are set, and an operation part 20 which selects the paper sheet kinds. A user selects a paper sheet kind indicating which of reverse-up and new paper sheets a form where the image is recorded is according to the image kind showing which of a facsimile received image and a copy image the image to be recorded is.
